Chloe, our fourteen year old cat, was an outdoor cat. From now on, she is an indoor cat. She recently suffered an abscess on her forehead which had spread to above her left eye, probably caused by another animal’s bite marks.
When we left her at the clinic for the procedure, the pus was just starting to emerge as the whole mass seemed ready to explode. You see her later in her collar of shame, two staples, and a drain (which is the long bow tie of gauze).
Yesterday, Chloe “escaped” the house through our catio and ended up on the roof, cone of shame and all. Caroline was able to retrieve her safely.
